Miriam has helped great retailers from TJX to NET-A-PORTER to eBay and has extensive experience in the fashion ecommerce start-up sector. As CEO of Figleaves, Miriam transformed the business from a multi-brand lingerie retailer to a lifestyle brand sold in five of the biggest UK retailers, combining entrepreneurial vision with product and digital transformation to help women find self-acceptance with the aspirational, inclusive brand.

Miriam has recently embarked on a new role as co-founder of Aequip, focusing on the future of the workplace. Aequip’s mission is to create workplaces fit for the future with inclusive tools that give every employee a voice. Its digital platform reduces friction and improves business performance with Behavioural Science design principles. Aequip got its start at Zinc, a social impact incubator whose mission is building new commercial tech companies that tackle the biggest social challenges in the developed world.
