Melanie Widdowson

Melanie has worked for Boots UK for 26 years, working across many disciplines of the retail industry, including marketing, merchandising and buying.  She has a passion for customer behaviour and shopper psychology and its application in the physical retail environment and more recently how this can be applied in an environment that blends online and offline shopping.

Recent projects include the design and development of the new flagship store in Covent Garden and the new Beauty environment which landed in stores last year.  These projects bought to life a new customer experience that had the customer mission at the heart and delivered the brand to customers in a modern and innovative way blending physical and digital experiences.
