PrettyLittleThing recruits new performance marketing agency

Fashion retailer PrettyLittleThing (PLT) is looking to drive online growth with a new performance marketing partner.

The Boohoo Group brand has selected Leeds-based Journey Further to provide strategic consultancy across all its performance channels.

The agency has been brought on board to optimise PLT’s international pay-per-click advertising, as well as its programmatic and search engine optimisation (SEO) channels. The company has also been tasked with identifying new online marketing investment opportunities in the retailer’s key UK, US, Australia, France, and Ireland markets.

PLT’s head of marketing, Nicki Capstick, said: “We loved the personality that came through from Journey Further during the pitch and the fact their clarity at speed approach cuts through the usual layers of bureaucracy.

“With direct access to their analysts and strategists, they really are an extension of our marketing team.”

Dan Peden, strategy director at Journey Further, added: “The trading environment we’ve created with unfiltered access to channel specialists and live trading dashboards will really help push [PLT] to the next level.”

In addition to SEO and marketing, Journey Further also helps brands with Google Shopping techniques and public relations (PR). It has offices in Leeds, London, and Manchester.

PLT competitor and fellow Manchester-based online retailer, Missguided, also recently refreshed it agency partnerships with the appointment of PR and SEO specialists, Rise at Seven.

The agency is working with Missguided’s in-house digital, creative, social media and SEO team to optimise the retailer’s website in the UK and US.
