Latest store opening for Aesop

Australian luxury skincare brand Aesop has opened a new store in Monmouth Street, in Seven Dials. The street is home a growing number of beauty brands and has been establishing itself as a destination for beauty shopping.

The new Aesop store, designed by an in-house team, features curved interior walls, rich timber floors and cast iron basins. An intimate salon space has a burnt sienna bench and brick fireplace. The store measures 131 sq m (1,412 sq ft).

“Clients can explore and select from a complete range of skin, hair and body care products, distinguished by botanical and laboratory-generated ingredients of the highest quality. The Seven Dials store’s trained consultants are able to offer advice about products best suited to individual needs,” said a brand spokesperson. “As the company evolves, meticulously considered design remains paramount to the creation of each space.”

“The recent opening of Aesop within Seven Dials is perfectly timed to coincide with new year lifestyle overhauls from consumers,” said Samantha Bain-Mollison, head of retail at Seven Dials owner Shaftesbury.

“The addition of this renowned Australian skincare brand within our portfolio also marks an exciting shift for Monmouth Street towards becoming an extensive beauty hub, with international brands, such as Caudalie and Kiehls, increasingly choosing Seven Dials for their West-End home. We are excited to see how the area develops over the coming year and look forward to diversifying our unique lifestyle and beauty mix further throughout 2020.”

Aesop was founded in Melbourne in 1987 and now has stores around the world.
