Kenneth Cobonpue opens Munich showroom

Furniture and homewares brand Kenneth Cobonpue has opened a showroom in Munich.

Founded 20 years ago, the Kenneth Cobonpue brand seeks to convey the value of Philippine artisanship and combine it with fresh design and insight. Its ranges, which include sofas and armchairs, tables, bookcases, lamps, and accessories, draw inspiration from the island of Cebu, where the brand is based.

The showroom, designed by the brand’s eponymous founder, features a clean and simple interior. It boasts large windows that allow in plenty of natural light while also reflecting the historic facades of neighbouring buildings.

Coloured walls are used throughout, with lighting and accessories arranged in roomsets.

“Europe really appreciates our product and philosophy. Furthermore, also our design and quality have always been appreciated. For this reason, the opening of a venue and an exhibition space became necessary,” says Kenneth Cobonpue brand manager Johannes Wild.

“We are now strengthening our markets in Russia, Austria and France. In Asia Kenneth Cobonpue is the expression of a status symbol. In the world, our furniture is chosen for the homes of celebrities and of the English Royal Family. We hope, with the right timing, this leap can also take place in Europe”.
