Grazia Magazine to host lifestyle weekend in shopping centre

Shopping centre group Intu has partnered with fashion and lifestyle magazine Grazia, to launch Grazia's first beauty and wellness weekend at the regional flagship Intu Trafford Centre, to be held later this month.

A number of fashion brands have arranged pop-up concessions offering makeovers, interactive experience and expert advice. Benefit, Prai Beauty and Kiko Milano are among the brands taking part. Meanwhile a ticketed Grazia Beauty Lounge will feature expert panels and workshops, led by the magazine team and a number of celebrities.

“We are thrilled to be working with Intu to bring together some of the leading brands and voices from the beauty and wellness world, for our first ever Grazia Beauty and Wellness Weekend to Intu Trafford Centre,” said Grazia publisher Lauren Holleyoake. “The Grazia audience are beauty obsessives who come to us for advice, news and recommendations, so we are hugely excited to bring that to life in this vibrant retail environment.”

“It will give the whole of intu Trafford Centre a boost by attracting even more engaged visitors to the centre over the weekend. We’ve seen the positive impact on footfall, dwell time and spend from similar events over the last few years and it’s something we’ll be doing more of to ensure our centres places where people continue to love to be,” added Intu centre performance director Martin Breeden. Intu has an increasing focus on leisure attractions and tenants at its centres.

The beauty and wellness weekend will take place on 28-29 March.
