Mark Wahlberg's fitness studio opens on King's Road in Chelsea

Global fitness brand F45 Training – founded in Australia and co-owned by film star Mark Wahlberg – is to open a small 22.3 sq m (240 sq ft) site on King's Road in London's Chelsea.

The brand provides a 'group fitness experience' based on 45 minute high intensity interval training classes. It bases its workout on the ethos that it is 'not a gym, but a community'. Its training merges three different styles, and is focused around three core pillars of motivation, innovation and results.

Designed by an in-house team, the site at 370 King's Road will be arranged over two floors: a reception and co-working space will be on the ground floor, while a lower level will house the gym space. This will include an Instagrammable wall installation based on the F45 Training logo.

Customers can take on the F45 Training eight week challenge, held four times a year, which promises incredible weight loss and fitness improvements. The course involves a tailored nutrition plan and a dedicated mobile app to monitor progress.

“We are thrilled to be joining the Chelsea community and look forward to unveiling this new F45 Training studio specially tailored to the local community. The new site on the King’s Road places us within the heart of this iconic location, and we look forward to welcoming our new clientele through the doors to not only smash their own fitness goals but also to join a thriving community of individuals powered by personal transformation rather than ego,” saysF45 Training Chelsea co-owner Colin Hutchison.

A number of other fitness and wellbeing brands have opened recently in the area, which is managed by the Sloane Stanley Estate.

“Chelsea has a high demand for health and wellbeing concepts, so we are delighted to welcome F45 Training to the estate,” says Sloane Stanley property director Hannah Grievson. “Adapting the fit-out to maximize their appeal to our catchment, F45 training will further amplify and enrich our wellbeing offer.”
