DV8 makes move to IRP eCommerce platform

Fashion retailer, DV8, has migrated its eCommerce operation (www.DV8Fashion.com) to Export Technologies' IRP platform.

DV8 launched its first high street store in 1994 and now has 40-plus stores across Ireland, including a flagship outlet in Belfast city centre, along with the aforementioned site which stocks over 100 young fashion clothing and footwear brands. The Export Technologies deal is part of an initiative to invest £1.5 million over the next two years in supply chain and technology solutions.

DV8 reports that it is seeing a 50% uplift in online sales compared to the same period last year, with top selling countries including Australia and USA. Director, Neville McDowell, said: “We made the move to IRP to create a more streamlined link between our bricks and mortar stores and online offering. We also have a massive international opportunity and the IRP platform is helping us reach global markets."

"In addition, the IRP analytics offers an intelligent approach to selling that uses artificial intelligence to monitor 'lost' sales, thus giving us the chance to reduce this gap so we can significantly increase our sales."
