Digital signage rollout for shopping centres in Africa and Asia

Shopping centres across Africa and Asia are to see new multipurpose digital displays installed.

Out of home advertising group Pikasso – which operates in the Levant and North and West Africa – is responsible for more than 13,000 display sites in 367 cities, across eight countries. It has contracted UK company Trueform Digital to supply and support a range of bespoke displays for centres in the regions.

The project includes the design, engineering, manufacture and assembly of displays developed to enhance opportunities around customer engagement, safety, security, and advertising. The weatherproof displays incorporate CCTV cameras, digital signage analytics for audience measurement, and Trueform’s Fusion thermal management technology.

An initial phase has seen more than two dozen 75” digital six sheet advertising signs at two retail parks on the Ivory Coast, with further installations ongoing in Algeria and Armenia.
