Budd chooses Redbox Digital to build eCommerce capability on Magento

London-based heritage shirtmaker, Budd, is working with Redbox Digital as it moves to a new omnichannel shopping platform and plans expansion into the USA and China.

It is upgrading from Magento 1 to Magento Commerce and Magento Business Intelligence, integrating a WordPress blog solution and running Ebizmarts’ Point of Sale.

Sean Reilly, head of eCommerce at Budd, says: "We wanted to upgrade to the new platform to take advantage of the latest technologies, speed and performance benefits, improvements in security and access to third party extensions. Magento Commerce also gives us the broadest native toolset available.”

The next phase is to improve the experience and technology capability behind its made-to-measure service so that customers can design and customise the shirt they want and see how it looks immediately.
