Arcadia and Fat Face agree Park Group deals

Fashion retailers Arcadia Group and Fat Face are among the latest names to sign up to multi-channel gift voucher and prepaid gift card provider Park Group’s services.

Arcadia, which owns high street brands such Topshop, Topman and Miss Selfridge, will now accept 'Love2shop' vouchers, while Fat Face is expected to gain accreditation for Park Group’s e-money prepaid ‘flexecash’ card by the end of the summer.

Retailers across the UK are striving to offer as many payment options at the point of sale as possible, and these Park Group solutions will add to their existing selections and increase payment flexibility in store and online.

As of this month, Wynsors World of Shoes, the former Staples stores now trading as Office Outlet, and online musical instrument retailer DJM Music are also accepting Love2shop vouchers.

These new additions mean Park Group’s gift vouchers are now accepted by more than 175 brands across the UK in over 20,000 high street stores. Almost 100 brands are now flexecash accredited, too.

Ian O'Doherty, CEO of Park Group, which is listed on the FTSE SmallCap Index, said the new deals will open up new markets and strengthen existing ones for the company.

“We are also pleased that flexecash is continuing to gain traction, with billings up almost £25 million as a result of increased usage of prepaid cards," he remarked.

"Arcadia Group brands are visible on nearly every UK high street or shopping centre, so this is a major new signing for our business and really boosts the opportunities for our customers and clients across the UK."
