Brantano and Jones Bootmaker centralise payments tech

Shoe retailers Brantano and Jones Bootmaker have invested in Ingenico Group's multichannel payments technology as the Alteri-owned companies look to centralise their systems.

Features of the new tech partnership include an analytics package to monitor transactions across stores and online, and 'OnGuard' point to point encryption technology for cardholder data protection.

Neil Holden, head of IT at Brantano and Jones Bootmaker, said the deal with have benefits in terms aiding with the PCI compliance process, while he also believes using a multichannel payment solution from one single provider will support the organisation's growth strategy.

"Our focus is to provide customers with what they want, when and how they want it, ensuring a seamless payment experience across our sales channels," he commented.

Holden will be speaking at next year's RBTE, as part of the payments conference stream. The event takes place at London Olympia between 8-9 May 2017, and Ingenico is once again a confirmed exhibitor on the show floor.
