Introducing the eCommerce Quarter at RBTE 2016

On the 9th and 10th of March 2016, over 16,000 people will descend on London's Olympia for the sixth RBTE show. But this year, there is a whole new area dedicated to eCommerce at RBTE – the eCommerce Quarter.

The eCommerce Quarter will be accessible to all RBTE delegates situated in the hub of all the activity on the ground floor of the Olympia exhibition hall. It will house over 60 eCommerce solutions specialists including NetSuite, Dyn, Adestra, Xsellco, Orderwise and Snapfulfil to name a few (see bottom of article for full list).

During the two days, the eCommerce Quarter will also provide delegates with a conference programme full of inspiring and strategic content for those working in online retail.

The dedicated eCommerce Theatre is hosting the likes of Sainsbury's online director, Robbie Feather, as well as JD Williams' head of web analytics, Gareth Powell, and Saltrock's director of eCommerce, Richie Jones. While Essential eCommerce's editor, Caroline Baldwin, will sit down to interview CEO of Pets Pyjamas, Gracia Amico, live on stage during the second day of the exhibition.

Industry consultant and author of The Multichannel Retail Handbook, Chris Jones, will be chairing the eCommerce Theatre. He said: "With John Lewis announcing recently that it is planning concretely for over 50% of all its purchases to be made online, eCommerce is fundamental to retail today and to its future growth.

"In fact, it is difficult to believe that any retail event could not have eCommerce as a central theme: the eCommerce quarter within the RBTE show certainly positions eCommerce in its rightful place! The programme for the RBTE eCommerce quarter covers every base in this ever-changing field, from high level omnichannel strategy and customer centricity right through to the nuts-and-bolts issues such as logistics, payment and fraud-prevention."

If you work in eCommerce, take some time to sit down and listen to retailers including, Blackwell, Dreams, Selfridges, Ocado, Bloom & Wild and many more, who will discuss the challenges and opportunities of online retailing and the digital customer experience, not to mention the mounting pressures on modern supply chains, fulfilment, data and international expansion.

The RBTE show is 9-10 March 2016 in London's Olympia. It is free to attend, click here for more information.
