CollectPlus expands shopping centre service to Edinburgh

Visitors to Cameron Toll shopping centre in Edinburgh will be able to collect online orders and return unwanted items at its new CollectPlus service desk.

The 32nd shopping centre to roll out the service, Cameron Toll's CollectPlus will be situated outside the centre's Sainsbury's supermarket and staffed 10am-7pm, seven days a week.

Jim Riddell, Cameron Toll shopping centre manager, said: "We understand that our shoppers live increasingly busy lives and we are constantly striving to ensure Cameron Toll meets all their needs. The arrival of the CollectPlus service provides the local community with a convenient way of combining their regular shopping at Cameron Toll with a parcel collection and drop off service that suits them."

CollectPlus started off as a third party click & collect service in 2009, allowing customers to access their goods from local newsagents. It now has a network of over 5,800 stores throughout the country, including 31 shopping centres.

Around 90% of the UK's urban population live within one mile of a CollectPlus Point and 89% within five miles in rural areas.
