RBTE 2016 Exhibitor Spotlight: Kirona Solutions

Workforce management solutions provider Kirona Solutions is new to RBTE, and it will be showcasing its range of products at the two-day event at London Olympia between 9-10 March 2016.

Essential Retail caught up with Laraine Geddes, marketing manager at Kirona Solutions, to find out more about the company and its plans for the spring show.

Why have you booked for RBTE 2016?

Kirona are exhibiting at RBTE as we see it as the perfect event to meet retailers who are looking to improve customer service and productivity of their field-based operation and can benefit from Kirona’s dynamic scheduling and mobile worker software. One of our customers who has benefited from working with us is Carpetright which is speaking at the event: Steve Johnson, operations director at Carpetright - Discover how Carpetright improved productivity, customer service and increased estimated sales  by 30% by utilising Kirona’s mobile field worker software.

What new technology will you be displaying at RBTE 2016, and why is it relevant?

Kirona will be demonstrating its dynamic resource scheduling software, which enables retailers to improve customer service, increase productivity and reduce costs of their field based operation, as well as providing optimised in store appointments.

Kirona’s Job Manager application will also be demonstrated at RBTE. It enables field-based operatives to receive work on a mobile device such as a tablet or smart phone, and have their jobs dynamically allocated and received to them, along with any required customer information.

Business performance can be optimised using Kirona’s InfoSuite management information dashboard. We look forward to demonstrating how retailers can benefit according to their own business objectives.

Name some of the retailers that you are currently working alongside?

Kirona works with Carpetright, the UK’s leading flooring specialist retailer, enabling their home consultants to be effectively scheduled with outstanding results. We also work with Brighthouse, the UK’s leading rent to own retailer, effectively enabling them to audit field-based collections.

What's the best customer service you've experienced this year?

The best customer service I’ve experienced this year has consistently been from my local “Little Waitrose” shop in Alderley Edge. The shopfloor team consistently go out of their way to be helpful and think of the customer first. Head office initiatives such as free coffee for Waitrose card holders is great service, as is giving free tangerines to children at Christmas time.
