Hard Rock Cafe uses new technology to create nostalgic vibe

Hard Rock Café in Orlando is embracing the old and new, with the introduction of transparent technology to showcase music memorabilia from The Beatles.

The Florida restaurant has implemented a 21.5-inch transparent screen, showcasing a pair of trainers and the famous Abbey Road sign, in a nod to one of the Merseyside band's best-selling albums. Hard Rock Café worked with UK company Crystal Display Systems (CDS) to create the digital display.

CDS managing director Chris Bartram remarked: "Transparent technology is constantly growing and becoming increasingly popular.

"Over the years we have noticed the increase from being key suppliers in the market from the start that designers and architects alike are creating various unique solutions and applications which is very exciting for the technology and exciting for us to see it grow."
