RBTE 2016 Exhibitor Spotlight: Tilroy

Online point of sale (PoS) & eCommerce company Tilroy is returning to RBTE, and it will be showcasing its range of products at the two-day event at London Olympia between 9-10 March 2016.

Essential Retail caught up with Peter De Ranter, managing director at Tilroy, to find out more about the company and its plans for the spring show.

Why have you booked for RBTE 2016?

After the successful roll-out of the Tilroy cloud-based PoS & eCommerce platform in Belgium & the Netherlands and ongoing enterprise projects in the UK, the time has come for Tilroy to go international. With our participation at RBTE 2016, we look forward to meeting new prospects and partners in the UK.

Name some of the retailers that you are currently working alongside?

Snow+Rock, Cotswold Outdoor

What's the best customer service you've experienced this year?

Any time I step into the local book store (a one-woman business), the shop owner leaves her desk to help me seek out the perfect gift in the most informal manner, explaining content, illustrations and fun factor of each book. It’s a pleasure to see the care with which she then selects the appropriate wrapping-paper and matching balloon. It’s almost a shame the gift has to be unwrapped in the end.

Quick-fire question round: Do you...
