RBTE 2016 Exhibitor Spotlight: DED Limited

Scanner and point of sale (PoS) solutions company DED Limited is returning to RBTE, and it will be showcasing its range of products at the two-day event at London Olympia between 9-10 March 2016.

Essential Retail caught up with Gordon Atkins, sales manager at DED Limited, to find out more about the business and its plans for the spring show.

Why have you booked for RBTE 2016?

As the last five years have always been great, and we hope next year to be better again.

What new technology will you be displaying at RBTE 2016, and why is it relevant?

The latest in technology for mobile PoS as we feel that this is where the market is headed. We will also be showing the latest and greatest PoS printers and touch screens.

Name some of the retailers that you are currently working alongside?

As a distributor working with large system integrators/resellers we are unable to offer this at present.

What's the best customer service you've experienced this year?

Nothing wow yet but we still have 2 ½ months to be impressed by someone!

Quick-fire question round: Do you...

Shop in-store or online? Depends on product, the bigger the purchase the more likely you will be to touch/see it first.

Prefer tea or coffee? Tea. Milk and two if you’re offering please.

Use Facebook or Twitter? Neither, prefer actual real life friends. (I have both but do not use either). The dog's Instagram is more fun.

Use iOS or Android? Android, Apple are rich enough already.

Rate beacons or digital signage? Digital signage.

Use contactless or cash? I use a debit card and I am more than happy going old school.

Visitors to RBTE 2016 can meet with DED Limited at Stand 413
