N Brown opens up locker route for customer returns

N Brown is now allowing its customers to return unwanted items via an automated locker service that can be accessed across the UK.

Teaming up with logistics operator InPost, the parent company behind JD Williams, Simply Be, Jacamo and Figleaves is looking to make the returns process as seamless as possible. Shoppers can access the InPost lockers at locations including Morrisons supermarkets, Esso petrol stations and Transport for London hubs, as well as outside retailers such as Toys R Us.

InPost has over 1,000 lockers that are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Customers looking to use the free service can print a label from the retailer's returns page online, attach it to their package and drop it off at their preferred locker.

John Cusick, head of distribution at JD Williams, commented: "Across our range of fashion, household and electrical goods brands, our customers need shopping to fit in with their busy lives, so we're always looking for innovative ways to improve the experience.

"Offering InPost as one of our returns options gives our customers the freedom to change their mind without being out of pocket or having to go out of their way – so we expect it to be a popular addition."

Craft beer company Brewdog and Virgin Wines are among the other businesses working with InPost.
