Joules bolsters digital operations with new senior multichannel role

Joules has appointed Kellie Hubbard to the newly created role of multichannel head of commercial operations.

Previously head of merchandising for nearly ten years, Hubbard's personal interest in digital has led her to this new role which will concentrate on the retailer's use of systems and processes internally.

Hubbard will report into the commercial director Kara Groves.

The announcement was made by the British lifestyle retailer among a number of other changes including appointments to reinforce its international expansion plans.

Penny Parry has stepped up into the role of European wholesale director, while Dave Wood is taking up a permanent position in the US as head of international.

Joules MD, Colin Porter, said: "Here at Joules we’re really proud of our close-knit family culture. This is an exciting period of expansion for the brand and we’re deeply appreciative that our employees – those in stores, at head office and internationally - are working hard to make this happen."

Established in 1989, Joules’ patterned collections include womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, homewares, toiletries and eyewear, and are distributed through retail stores, online, catalogues, wholesale and licensing channels.
