TXT Retail appoints Oracle's Anton Pershin to lead sales charge

End-to-end planning solutions provider TXT Retail has appointed ex-Oracle sales director Anton Pershin as vice president of sales for the EMEA and APAC regions.

The new recruit will be responsible for creating and executing TXT's sales strategies and for new business development. He will also have direct responsibility for all sales executives in these regions, as the company looks to grow its proposition in new markets.

At Oracle, Pershin most recently served as regional director for eastern, central and northern Europe, Russia and CIS. He was responsible for the strategy of regional sales teams and worked closely with partners and external organisations to serve retailers across this region.

Simone Pozzi, TXT Retail managing director, commented: "We are proud to have Anton on board, he is a passionate sales leader with extensive retail experience.

"TXT Retail has established leadership positions in EMEA, it is fast growing in North America and it is now expanding into Asia Pacific with new resources and a new subsidiary in Hong Kong, in addition to the consolidated presence in Australia through our Sydney office. With over 15 years' experience in selling and delivering retail projects in emerging markets, Anton's appointment is key to our strategy."

TXT Retail recently began operations in Hong Kong for the first time with the business moving to strengthen its support for major international projects and customers in the Asia Pacific region. The Hong Kong subsidiary employs local business managers, directly linked to its other head offices around the globe.
