Sage Pay to address technology's impact on the in-store experience

Payment services provider Sage Pay will be tackling the subject of how technology is revolutionising the in-store shopping experience, at next week's RBTE.

Sage Pay will be on stage as the European retail solutions conference and exhibition, which is set to take place between 10-11 March at London's Olympia, runs nine highly practical workshop sessions on eCommerce. The bootcamps will cover all aspects of the eCommerce journey – from customer attraction to checkout & payment.

Checkout and payment – with Sage Pay

Sage Pay will use the session at RBTE to demonstrate its new mobile/cloud based point of sale solution, which it says enables retailers to give customers the buying and payment experience they crave.

Discussing some of the ways the in-store shopping journey is evolving, representatives from the payment services provider will explain how its new tool is being used by various customers.

The Sage Pay solution enables retailers to provide a consultative approach to shopping by allowing payments to be taken on the go, as well as offering inventory information. It also gives customers the option to pay instantly and collect goods from a separate location.
