AO.com founder John Roberts, Hobbycraft CEO Catriona Marshall, John Lewis IT director Paul Coby and Tesco.com's managing director for grocery home shopping Simon Belsham have been confirmed as keynote speakers for next year's RBTE.

The two-day event, which will take place between 10-11 March 2015 at London's Olympia, is set to cover the key issues and challenges facing the retail industry as it deals with an unprecedented period of change, fuelled by new technology and increasingly empowered consumers.

Other confirmed retail speakers include Alex Chruszcz, senior director of insight, pricing & data at Asda, Kevin O'Brien, IT director at Selfridges, Mike Durbridge, director of omnichannel at B&Q, and Robert Teagle, EMEA IT director at Starbucks.

Conference streams include: omnichannel retailing; retail leadership; HR & skills development; technology, innovation & data; marketing and the customer; retailer payments strategy and payments in a mobile world.

Stephen Robertson, non-exec director at the Timpson Group and Hargreaves Lansdown, and the former director-general of the British Retail Consortium, will be hosting a keynote panel debate with Tesco's Belsham, Hobbycraft's Marshall and other retail leaders.

This year's RBTE – the fourth annual edition of the show – saw a record level of attendance, with visitor numbers up by more than 20% compared to 2013. RBTE parent company, Legend, is also running its inaugural Retail Design Expo in 2015, which will be co-located alongside RBTE at Olympia and is expected to contribute to more than 10,000 retail industry professionals visiting the event over the course of two days.

Those looking to attend RBTE can register here free of charge. Alongside the extensive conference programme, RBTE will play host to over 300 exhibitors from around the world, showcasing their solutions for the retail and hospitality industries.

More retail speakers are set to be announced in due course. If you are a retailer and would like more information on speaking at RBTE, please contact Carl Goodman, conference production director, on 0151 707 9522 or email carl@rbtexpo.com.
