Worldpay signs up for RBTE 2015

UK payments business Worldpay is the latest exhibitor to sign up for RBTE 2015 – Europe's fastest growing retail solutions show.

Worldpay will be showcasing its latest omnichannel innovations and demonstrating its payment technology, including systems that can help retailers mobilise their in-store point of sale (PoS) systems.

Improving the in-store customer experience is currently a key focus for many companies operating in the industry, and retailers are increasingly looking to mobile PoS technology to help them achieve these goals. Worldpay says that its solutions can help free up staff from fixed counters, allowing them to serve customers more easily, bust queues and complete sales anywhere in a store.

James Frost, chief marketing officer for Worldpay UK, commented: "We've seen the successful growth of RBTE over the past four years and recognise its popularity in the industry – so we're looking forward to talking to retailers about how to make the most of emerging payment technologies and grow their business.

"The best way to increase your bottom line is letting customers pay any which way they want to."

This year's RBTE was the fourth and biggest version of the show yet, with over 8,500 visitors heading through the doors to hear keynote presentations from senior figures working for the likes of Asda, Carphone Warehouse, Charles Tyrwhitt and John Lewis.

In 2015 the event will move from London's Earls Court to Olympia, and more than 10,000 visitors are expected to attend the two-day industry conference and exhibition between 10-11 March.

Commenting on the latest developments at the show, RBTE event director Matt Bradley said: "Securing Worldpay as an exhibitor at RBTE further demonstrates our strength in the payments industry.

"Worldpay will join 60+ other major payment exhibitors and combined with our outstanding Payments Conference programme, makes RBTE an unmissable event for all merchants and associated stakeholders."
