Eagle Eye and K3 Retail partner up for digital coupon redemption

Digital coupon solutions firm Eagle Eye has announced that its AIR platform has now been integrated with systems provider K3 Retail's Microsoft Dynamics Solution.

The partnership will enable secure issuance and redemption of digital coupons, rewards, gifts and payments at the point of sale (PoS), as well as providing K3's retail customers with real-time data management capabilities.

Eagle Eye's platform provides campaign marketing, issuance, redemption and reporting, but K3 says that the integration with its Microsoft Dynamics Solution "completes the digital loop" for its retail clients, providing real-time information about the success and redemption of digital vouchers, which consumers are increasingly inclined to use on smartphone devices and mobile apps.

John Little, sales director at K3 Retail, said: "The integration of the Eagle Eye AIR platform is an innovative addition to our PoS solution.

"It will enable our retail clients to deliver personalised and targeted promotions to their customers which in turn will drive footfall and loyalty, as well as reduce operational costs."

Eagle Eye is currently on the growth trail, having recently acquired mobile technology platform provider 2ergo and started to trade on the AIM. The business is looking to continue its expansion and is working with a number of retail clients to aid their loyalty schemes, including Greggs the baker and shoe brand Clarks.

Last month saw pet food and accessories retailer Pets at Home implement Eagle Eye's digital platform, although on this occasion the integration is with BT Expedite, which provides the company's PoS system.

The collaboration is part of the retailer's multichannel strategy, and includes digitising the voucher redemption process within its Very Important Pets (VIP) programme, as well as implementing a deliver-to-store service which allows Pets at Home's online customers to opt to collect their purchased item in-store.

Eagle Eye AIR allows Pets at Home to identify which of its offers have been most successful, as well as reduce the operational costs associated with paper coupons and plastic gift cards. In addition, it helps link Pets at Home's eCommerce and store sales by tracking online orders that are delivered and collected from store.

"This will mean that we can track shopper behaviour and ensure that our customers are getting the best possible service as well as offers that are truly relevant to them and their pets."
