Last chance to apply for Revive & Thrive Challenge

There are just three weeks left to enter The Revive & Thrive Challenge – a competition that has brought together retail and technology experts across the UK to encourage innovation on the high street.

More than 100 communities throughout the UK have entered their ideas for innovation and change on their local high streets since the initiative was launched in October 2013, and any other town or city looking to get involved has until 31 January 2014 to submit their application.

The prize up for grabs to the most innovative concept consists of a privately funded suite of solutions – worth over £150,000 – that can deliver the tools required to bring innovation to their local community.

A team of judges – comprising professionals from high street regeneration, business improvement district development, crowdfunding, marketing, loyalty and digital technology – will make their decision on the winner in front of a packed house at this year's RBTE, which runs at London's Earls Court from 11-12 March.

Mark Barnes, managing director of Revive & Thrive Ltd, said: "Revive & Thrive is all about changing high streets – there's never been an easier competition to enter to help change your community.

"By investing just 30 minutes of time in your application, you can deliver permanent change in the place you live. If you have any innovation ideas, this is the perfect way to showcase them on a great stage."

Companies or interested parties looking to support the initiative still have a chance to donate to the prize package, which is now worth over £150,000. Organisations willing to get involved will benefit from significant exposure throughout the year, as the winning project gets underway.
