Global insight: Dubai's teams up with IORMA

Retailers and brands trading in the Middle East via Dubai-based online shopping mall will be able to access guidance on their omnichannel strategies, following the announcement of a new partnership this week. has aligned itself with IORMA (International Omni Retailing Markets Association), a new members association that is aiming to become a hub for global retail industry research and development as the digital economy continues its growth. The partnership will allow the online mall to tap into the group's research and expertise as consumer habits continue to change, driven by the evolution of technology.

IORMA board members include senior retail figures such as World Retail Congress founder and chairman Ian McGarrigle, ex-British Retail Consortium director-general Stephen Robertson and former Selfridges CEO Peter Williams.
