Design showcase: CaviarHouse & Prunier's new branch concept

Caviar House & Prunier has launched its latest branch – described as an experience counter and boutique store – at Heathrow Terminal 4. The airside venue has been designed by Caulder Moore, introducing a new branch concept with a revitalised modern aesthetic.

The brief called for the agency to build on the brand's existing look, but to add a contemporary twist and elegant modern signage. The result seeks to give travellers an immersive and multi-sensory experience.

A 360-degree island-format food display ensures that customers can see the seductive food displays from all angles, in a busy travel hub environment. Informal, social seating to make the experience more accessible, and to encourages passers-by to try the Prunier caviar and Balik salmon on display.

Lighting has been chosen to create a strong presence while maintaining a feeling of intimacy at the counter. High level signage uses an artistic interpretation of the brand's caviar tin, while a new chef's table feature introduces an element of food theatre.

“The new material palette reinforces a feeling of elevated, contemporary freshness, together with inspirations from the much-loved Prunier restaurant in Paris,” says Caulder Moore designer, Daniela So.

The new format will also soon be seen at a branch in Heathrow's Terminal 3 soon.
