National Association of Shopfitters supports Retail Design Expo

Retail Design Expo 2015 is moving steadily towards its inaugural event and the National Association of Shopfitters (NAS) is delighted to be part of this showcase of retail talent.

It is with a great deal of excitement that we see the planning taking shape to bring the world of retail design, innovation,  and the best of thinking about shopfitting and fitout under one roof.

The world of shopping is without doubt changing and all of its varying facets are moving too. Shopfitting and Interior Contracting companies are raising their game to meet this challenge with new technology and the NAS continues to act as a catalyst between the creative thinkers and those who deliver the built environment.

Collaboration, in the mutual recognition of the skills of the creative thinkers and the world of interior fitout, will shine through at this showcase event. It will clearly be the place for all those facets to come together. The retail world is an exciting one, and in London in particular it continues to break new boundaries.

Despite the worst recession in a lifetime it continues to be heartening to speak to people in the industry who maintain a very positive outlook on the future. Ours is an industry that is dynamic and innovative. We continue to pay tribute to those companies that push the boundaries, refusing to be content with second best and rising to the challenge, whatever the situation.

The global retail industry is always a challenging environment. However, the opportunities for growth, expansion and the best of ideas are most certainly in evidence.

Retail Design Expo 2015 is the exciting new kid on the block that will bring together the many elements of the ultra-creative retail design industry with shopfitting and interior contracting. It will without doubt be the prime showcase for store design, and the many facets that go to make up what we collectively know as retail - a vibrant hub for a dynamic industry.
