Jonathan Jackman, VP EMEA at Logility, told Essential Retail: "Consumers want a seamless omnichannel shopping experience. This requires more functional capabilities than ever before.

"Despite significant advancements in the technology to support omnichannel, adoption of transparent cross-channel inventory has yet to become a reality at most retailers. The desire is strong and the need is clear. Now is the time for retailers to broaden their vision, realign processes and replace their legacy systems."

He added: "Developing a strategy and roadmap for offering a real-time view of retail is now essential for success.

"Logility Voyager Solutions offers retailers a comprehensive solution from sourcing to store shelf that helps them stay ahead of rapidly changing consumer needs."
