Why have you booked for RBTE 2016?

DILAX Systems UK will be attending RBTE 2016 as it is a major forum for technology in the retail sector. RBTE 2016 offers DILAX Systems UK a great opportunity to meet up with existing customers, network with prospective clients and share best practice with our peers.  We are really looking forward to the show and are also sponsoring The Big Party in the Dell Champagne Bar at the end of the first day, we hope to see lots of your readers there!

What new technology will you be displaying at RBTE 2016, and why is it relevant?

We will be showcasing our latest 3D sensor technology and offering retailers a glimpse of our new reporting software and graphical user interface. DILAX Systems UK does far more than counting people, we deliver customer insights that help retailers to predict and influence customer behaviour and operational effectiveness. Our customised reports are used to inform strategic decision making and operations in the retail sector, helping retailers and shopping centres to optimise their processes, increase their efficiency and improve the shopping experience for their own customers.

Name some of the retailers that you are currently working alongside?

We are working alongside some of the leading retailers and shopping centres in the UK and across Europe. We have over 300 installations in the UK, and over 1,200 installations in the rest of the world in the people counting arena. Our client list includes Jack Wolfskin, Gant, Ikea and Deichmann. DILAX's systems and customised reports are also used by airports, stations and by many transport operating companies and we also have over 22,000 installations on trains, trams and buses.

Which types of retailer and which job functions are you hoping to meet with at RBTE 2016, and why?

DILAX Systems UK has experience working across the full retail sector, from one to multiple store portfolios. Our reporting system is so rich in its content that there are advantages to a wide range of departments across the retail sector including marketing, operations, HR, merchandising and sales.

Our customised reports help retailers to answer the following questions:

  • What is the profile of customers, age and gender?
  • What is the capture rate, potential customers passing by vs actual shoppers in store?
  • What is the conversion rate?
  • Who is a regular shopper and who is coming to the store for the first time?
  • What effect does the weather have on customer numbers and dwell time?
  • What are the hot spots in the store and where are the cold ones?
  • How does the changing of merchandise and store layout affect the customer experience, dwell time and spend?
  • How can I reduce abandonment by understanding why this happens?
  • What is the real impact of marketing events, which are driving footfall, dwell time and spend, how many new customers came as a result of the marketing campaign?  Which of these is now a regular customer?
  • What affect does communicating with the customer via social media and Wi-Fi have on their shopping behaviour?
  • What is the comparison between the customers’ online behaviour and their offline behaviour?

Visitors to RBTE 2016 can meet with DILAX Systems UK at Stand 1020. The company will also be sponsoring the Big Party, which takes place at the Dell Champagne Bar at London Olympia from 16:45 on 9 March.
