Wyevale Garden Centres has relaunched its website, after a trial period where the retailer tested the concept on its loyalty club members.

Following the test and learn period with its Garden Club members, the website is now live and fully transactional. All customers can access Wyevale's best-selling products and have them delivered to their home.

The new fully optimised website also offers customers advice and inspiration via 130 articles and 50 videos. These tips are aimed at all customers, whether they are novices or green-fingered experts.

"After months of intensive planning, research, and development we are ready to present this new and exciting website to our customers. This new website reflects the values of our business, providing expert tips and advice to customers and an excellent range of products to choose from," said Jim Clear, head of multichannel at Wyevale Garden Centres. "It is of central importance to us that the customers’ online experience meets the standard they have come to expect from our centres up and down the country."

He added: "We will now be able to bring our service to customers who are not currently able to frequently or conveniently visit our centres and we are confident that whether you are new to Wyevale Garden Centres or have shopped with us for years, you will have a great experience using our new website."

Wyevale also said it had to undertake extensive work and development on its supply chain to ensure it could offer customers fresh plants online.
