Astound Commerce has announced that it is helping create the eCommerce platforms for a range of UK retailers, including Musto, Orlebar Brown, Boohoo, Extra, Boux Avenue and Sally's Beauty.

The tech company helps build businesses' digital capabilities on a variety of online platforms, including Demandware, IBM WebSphere Commerce, SAP Hybris, Magento, MarketLive Kibo and NetSuite.

Supporting Astound's growing presence in the UK and Europe will be Jas Sandhu, who has just been appointed as EMEA consulting director. He joins the company from Equestrian.com, where he held the role of chief technical director/chief digital officer.

At his previous company Sandhu was responsible for leading the digital team, which covered social, PPC, SEO, eCommerce and affiliate marketing, as well as overseeing the entire ERP backbone IT infrastructure. At Astound he will be heavily involved in consultancy, solutions, client services, sales and identifying new strategic partnerships.

"As part of my remit at Astound, I’ll be providing services to clients – both from a commercial and technical perspective – offering consultancy on new and existing projects and continuing to build a team that provides an outstanding service for all our customers," explained Sandhu.

He added that the strategic partnerships Astound has established with companies such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Ingenico, Certona and InRiver will continue to play "an integral role" in the business's future strategy.
