UK-based online healthy snacks retailer Graze.com has reported sales growth for the year to 28 February 2015, with the company's recent foray into the US proving a success so far.

Group revenues increased by 31% year-on-year to £68 million, with sales rising in its home UK market and the US, where it recently opened and built out a New York office.

A statement released by the company on Tuesday evening reported a US sales run rate of $35 million per annum, with the US arm already profitable and set to scale further in the coming years.

Anthony Fletcher, CEO of Graze.com, commented: "Following one of the most successful launches of a British food brand into the US, this territory is after just one year contributing significantly to group revenues.

"Its success has been driven by our unique product and direct to consumer proposition, allowing us to quickly localise the offer at minimal cost. This exciting customer proposition is underpinned by our vertically integrated model, proprietary technology platform and thorough understanding of the delivery mechanism."

Fletcher also spoke of a "pipeline of game changing innovations" to aid the planned growth. The company, which was set up by the developers and logisticians behind LoveFilm, has launched a number of new ranges in recent months, including localised offerings and limited edition sharing boxes.

Graze.com featured in last year's Sunday Times Fast Track 100 list of the UK companies with the fastest growing sales. It was a list that was dominated by the retail industry, with 22 companies from the sector, including fashion retailer Victoria Beckham and gift e-tailer Notonthehighstreet.com.
