Lithuania-based insurance provider Lietuvos Draudimas is the latest Baltic business to invest in digital signage marketing, with its ads being displayed across shopping centres in its home country.

The digital signage network Lietuvos Draudimas is working alongside has enabled the company to run and manage a countrywide campaign from a centralised point. Displayed content, created by a third-party media agency specifically for the project, is stored and managed on a cloud-based platform, which removes the need for onsite media players and storage servers.

Using Samsung's Smart Signage Platform (SSSP), which is powered by Signagelive's SoC software, the insurance provider has been raising awareness of its various services to shoppers in key retail hubs in Lithuania. The digital signage network is being used to showcase engaging, high resolution content on a series of ruggedised displays.

Ads for the insurance company have been placed in busy shopping centres across Lithuania

The SSSP has been supplied and installed by Hansab, a local provider of technology solutions to financial, retail, public and private sector organisations. The installation comprises a combination of 48-inch and 55-inch  Samsung displays, including the DB48D and DB55D models.

Signagelive and Hansab have worked jointly on a number of projects in the Baltic region, with customers including Citadele Bank, Forum Cinemas and Reiten Convenience Lithuania.

A recent study by Grand View Research suggests the prospects for the global digital signage market  are bright, with the sector estimated to be worth $13.25 billion and expected to grow at a CAGR of 6.1% over the next five years.
